lyrics
She will never cry, easier to lean on denial
Time is passing by, wonder is it still worth a try
Sucking the fumes of the cold, nothing solid to hold
Counting her share of mistakes, there's no room left to fake
It's her time to be sold, right before she's way to old
Maybe it will be ok, not today
Calling the name of the gods, one by one will let her down
Seek a clue in the sky as the child inside her is falling, he fails to survive
In the meantime she is alive
It's so dark in her eyes as the child inside her dies
Trying to steal a moment to think, through the grey so deep
When you're a part of the sand it's not easy to stand
And that’s all that we are when the goal is way too far
Will life let her take control of her soul?
Calling the name of the gods, one by one will let her down
Seek a clue in the sky as the child inside her is falling
He fails to survive in the meantime she is alive
It's so dark in her eyes as the child inside her dies
I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie
This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye
It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue
