lyrics
Days go by in their will, masks fail to conceal
Seeing you diving in, haunted with that's been
And your eyes are asking to be whole, only driven out for that is all you know
While the smile is wiped out by the tears, carry with them cold betraying years, bleeding and sore
Day dream sights taking place, I see a child without a face
Standing bare in the rain, asking to remain
And in time the rain kept falling down, mud had raised up pulling the boy to the ground
So he kicked his bleeding legs in vain, whole at last still the scar remains
Still it remains
Strings of darkened light pulling the beast by its teeth
Never ending pain, powering hatred beneath
Strings of darkened light pulling the beast by its teeth
Never ending pain, powering hatred beneath
Years went by, you are here, scared though have no fear
I realize, touching your veins
The harder the pain the stronger you remain….
I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie
This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye
It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue
