lyrics
Breath the sweet cold air, tell the wind to find you there
Reading hidden signs is a path for all the blind
Summoning the ghost, we're all made of who we lost
Bruised along the way and scars are made to stay, stay…
Be a raven in the night, only seen in darkest heights
Let the white one give you light
Drain the sorrow through your eyes while you claim your sacrifice
Then taste the early rise
They are watching us, walking through the air we trust
Holding your head high before the ocean tides, tides….
Listen to their voice telling you to make a choice
It's a brighter day when souls begin to pray, pray….
Be a raven in the night, only seen in darkest heights
Let the white one give you light
Drain the sorrow through your eyes while you claim you sacrifice
Then taste the early rise
The mountains arrive, the river becomes alive
And whatever dies inside you survives
I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie
This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye
It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue
