lyrics
Can't move forward with you on my back, I have to let go
No use hoping it's wasting my time, I'm sure that you know
Now I can see the future in the fog glowing in the darkness breaks my heart
Chained to your deception all is lost
Promised everything but what's the cost?
Narrow minded are reaching for doom, nothing we can do
Bad intentions the small man's ego tries to lower you
Now I can see tomorrow as my goal
Shaped into the figure of my soul
Facing your depression you are done
Try and cry to me but I'll be gone
I will break this grasp, you no longer own me
I will break this grasp, you no longer own me
Chase the sparrow's path, no one will follow me
Your creation is a black hole devouring all, the sentiment's over rated
You're sinking on a trip; I won't be going down with your ship
Won't be going down, won't be going down
Won't be going down, won't be going down
I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie
This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye
It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue
