lyrics
Since I've been gone the trees no longer sing my songs, my moves could not have been more wrong, just floating on and on
Left you to be the lonely soldier you were destined to be, and in your quest there is no place for me, I must be on my own
But when I hate myself I think of how you loved me, and how my life meant everything to you
And though it makes me loath myself a little more, the pain has so much more meaning then before
Changing my mind and every new idea is leading me blind, just to discover there's no one of a kind, what will I live to find?
Seeking your face inside my empty soul but there is no trace, only the memories of how good it tastes, that no one can erase
But when I hate myself I think of how you loved me, and how my life meant everything to you, and though it makes me loath myself a little more, the pain has so much more meaning then before

I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie
This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye
It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue
